Kick Start & Pathway Programs

M&M Kick Start & Pathway Program

This is a great place to add a tagline.

The M&M Kick Start and Pathway Program is a comprehensive youth workforce development initiative designed to prepare high school students for successful careers in high-demand industries through education, training, mentorship, and paid work-based learning experiences. Led by M&M Helping Hands in partnership with local schools, employers, and community organizations, the program provides structured pathways from classroom learning to career placement.

Our Youth Skills Training (YST) program will offer students early exposure to industry careers, hands-on technical instruction, and opportunities to earn industry-recognized credentials. Participants will engage in career exploration activities, job readiness training, and paid work experiences that build both technical and soft skills. The program focuses on industries such as healthcare, information technology, advanced manufacturing, and skilled technical services.

The primary goals of the program are to increase high school graduation rates, improve workforce readiness, and expand access to sustainable career opportunities for underserved youth. Over the two-year grant period, we aim to serve at least 60 students through classroom instruction, credentialing, and paid employment placements.

By combining academic support, employer partnerships, and community mentorship, the M&M Kick Start and Pathway Program creates a seamless pipeline that empowers students to transition confidently from high school into postsecondary education, training, or employment.
